Meet the Family

Hello – We’re Vicky & Paul, husband & wife team who have hung up our city clogs over a decade ago for a country life with our family. Along for the ride are: horses who would do anything for mints, Margo the Cockapoo, Basil the big cat, a brood of little hens expecting access all areas, friendly sheep with no sense of direction and naughty Granny with her secret stash of biscuits next door.

We’re always in total awe of our family, where we live and of our outdoor wedding venue. Together, they rock our world, turn our days upside down and inspire us to create more sustainable wedding wonderfulness for the couples who say their special “I do’s” here.

Between huge forests, ancient woodlands, grassy glades and wildflower meadows, we are so grateful to have and share with our wedding couples this special place.

The big sky, the views, the light, the space made it finally feel right with our desire to create a sustainable wedding venue for couples who want something away from the crowds and the normal rush, stress and pace of life.

As a couple, we totally understand the desire of other couples to celebrate their love and do things a bit differently with a relaxed wedding full of meaningful personal touches.

When we’re taking our own little breather, you’ll find at least one of us kicking a football around with our boys, supporting all things local, hunting down children’s single socks and noseying through the latest style-savvy sustainable wedding blogs.
