Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

T he beauty of having your outdoor wedding ceremony at Wellington Wood is the ease from preparation to ceremony to celebration all in one place. There are four natural wedding ceremony spaces that you might like to choose from.

Meadow Circle

Centred within the meadow is a sunken circle 15 metre in diameter with rustic wooden posts encircling part of it and handmade cobbled circles within it.

With beautiful open light surrounded by views of the meadow and a vast amount of mature trees, the Meadow Circle has its own wooden benches and wooden chairs already set up. A stunning space to style or keep super simple for your outdoor wedding ceremony.  

The Larch

Our handmade, large octagon shaped larch cabin has open sided views out onto the meadow and Tipis. A covered area 12 metres in diameter, fully furnished with wooden chairs, bringing the outdoors in to feel like an outdoor wedding ceremony space. 

This unique ceremony circle is a beautiful space to add your own special touches to. We welcome you to use foliage from our woodland. 

Naked Tipi

A striking large wooden pole Tipi structure wrapped in fairy lights instead of canvas. The Naked Tipi is a visually wonderful way to create a ceremony space whilst keeping the meadow and Giant Hat Tipis view of your surroundings. With rustic wooden chairs for your ceremony this is also a changeable space from ceremony to late lounge area where you can add your own props, furniture & style delights. Standing 8.3m wide x 5.6m high. 

Woodland Circle

 A walk into our ancient woodland and you’ll find a magnificent natural circle of giant beech trees providing a natural canopy and space for a stunning outdoor wedding ceremony. Handmade benches and chairs are ready and waiting for your personalised touches to this area.
